Scenario
Charles, a retired man, gets a new lease on life when he answers a private detective’s ad and becomes a mole in a secret investigation of a nursing home. Based on the Chilean documentary “El Agente Topo”. Remake of the film Mysterious Agent (2020). I think many works of fiction naturally have the goal of making you think something like “It was an honor to be a part of these fictional characters’ lives”. This show hits that goal undeniably well. Even those who come to the mystery, who admit it, focus less, should be overwhelmed by the humanity that is not only written, but also the performance of all the actors. Props to all the departments involved. Although Netflix has been strict about renewing series lately, I hope they fulfill the potential of this show by granting them a season 2, because I hope to see more of these incredible characters’ journeys.
